Telogen effluvium hair losses affect the whole of the head, which is their main common denominator. That distinguishes them from androgenetic hair loss, which only affects some zones on the scalp.
2They can be very abundant, and the hair can fall in batches. But they are usually reversible, when the cause that triggered them stops affecting the hair cycle.
