Wash your hair according to need, but no more than once a day! Only use extra soft shampoo, with a neutral pH and without sodium laureth sulfate. |
| |
2 |
Ultra soft? A good criterion is the foaming power. The softer a shampoo, the less it produces foam, and the less it risks aggressing your sebaceous glands. |
| |
3 |
You should be aware that rinsing your hair for a long period of time under tepid water can sometimes enable you to 'skip' a shampoo. That will be one fewer one, and it's for the better!
| |
4 |
Do not frenetically rub your scalp during the shampoo: it stimulates the sebaceous glands and thus triggers the sebum's action!
| |
5 |
For the same reason, do not use an excessively hot drier! It will artificially dry your skin and make it secrete more sebum as soon as the hair is dry. |
| |
6 |
Try to avoid constantly running your hair through your hair! It is a habit that favours the migration of the sebum from the scalp to the hair. |
| |
7 |
Have a shampoo after exercising, or any effort that will have made your scalp sweat: sebum and sweat do not mix well! |
| |
8 |
Avoid everything made out of industrial sugars: pastries, candy, white rice and bread, fast food, etc. |
| |
9 |
Eat green vegetables and fruit. They are said to be generally good for your health? Well, they are also good for fighting sebum. They help to eliminate toxins.
| |
10 |
If you are usually stressed, relax. Every stress rush corresponds to an increase in sebum! |
