Taking Care of Dry Hair
10 Quick Tips by Hélène Clauderer

  1

Wash your hair with extra soft products. But not too often! No matter how soft they are, too frequent shampoos make dry hair more fragile.

2

Change your hair dryer's temperature. Your hair lacks sebum by nature? Then, it is without protection. So do not "burn off" its keratin!

  3

Beware! No matter what, there should be no silicone in the products you use! Of course, the first effect is "magical" but very quickly, the hair becomes more and more dry...

  4

Sometimes, replace shampoo with egg yolk. Its constituents take dirt in and keep it, thus making the hair clean, and protecting the sebum.

  5

Hydrate your roots with very nourishing milk linkBoutique. Massage your scalp beforehand, with a warm damp towel on the head. It makes the penetration of active ingredients easier.

  6

Make masks with virgin, cold-pressed and organic vegetable oil. Without those specificities, your product will be inert, with no healing effect.

  7

Beware: a mask means a ritual. Each lock should be impregnated and kneaded for a long period of time, and the product should be kept for 1/2 an hour. Otherwise, it is useless.

  8

Beware of the sun, sunbathing and swimming pools: the correlated action of infrared and salt (or chlorine) dries out the hair and the keratin. You should thus wash you hair afterwards with a rehydrating conditioning cream.

  9

A diet rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E is recommended. They are particularly rich in: chestnut oil, raisin seeds, sunflower (cold-pressed), sea fish, fish eggs... Dietary substitutes with the same ingredients are also recommended.
