Scalp's Dandruff or Irritations
10 Quick Tips by Hélène Clauderer

  1

Anti-dandruff shampoos can be used, but with moderation. Excessive use can have the opposite effect to the one you are looking for: they can irritate the skin.

2

Carefully select your anti-dandruff shampoo, dependent on the type of dandruff you have (dry or greasy).

  3

Only shampoo once each time. The second shampoo makes your scalp more sensitive, and has no benefits. This especially important if you wash your hair often.

  4

Avoid trying to remove the dandruff by energetically massaging your scalp while shampooing. It will come back as soon as the hair dries!

  5

However, it is a good idea to massage your scalp before shampooing, with cleansing milk, in order to remove your dandruff in depth flecheBoutique.

  6

Rinse your hair thoroughly. When the shampoo residue dries, it agglutinates itself to the sweat and sebum, thus promptly creating an environment that favours itchiness.

  7

Try to manage your nervous tension. Stress favours the proliferation of pityirasis, the fungus that causes dandruff and desquamation.

  8

Between two shampoos, rather than scratching it, massage your scalp lightly, with lemon juice on the tip of your fingers.

  9

Decrease your consumption of acidifying nutrients and increase your intake of alkalising ones, by using acidifiant this list.

  10

Drink a lot of mineral water, at least 1.5 liters a day. Chose a water with a neutral pH; it is written on the bottle (Volvic, for instance).
