Collect approximately 15 hairs, from different places on your scalp (top, sides, nape) and then look at them closely, if needed with a magnifying glass.

3.Density Test
Is your hair as dense everywhere as it is on your nape?
Yes
a) If you the hair is less dense : Is it diffuse, throughout the head?
b) Or is it localised, on the following zones of the scalp:
The parietal zone (top of the head)
And/or the vertex (back tip of the head)
And/or the frontal zone or the temporal zone
And/or the sides (above the ears)
Lay your hands on your head, the fingers slightly split, with the finger tips laid flat. Press strongly, and try to make your scalp move along your skull, without your fingers sliding. Do you:
Feel that there is strong mobility?
Some mobility?
Feel that it adheres?
Pinch your skin, by firmly grabbing it between the thumb and the index, and by first placing your fingers on your forehead, where the skin is supple, then on the top of the head, where it generally is less so. If needed, return to the forehead as a benchmark.
Is your scalp supple?
Difficult to pinch?
Impossible to pinch?
