Is Clauderer a Rip-Off?

Overview. Here and there, on web forums dedicated to hormonal hair loss, one can sometimes read that Clauderer treatments are a rip-off, and that so are all other natural anti-hair loss remedies. So what should then be said about Propecia, Androcur and minoxidil, which are the three medicines dermatologists prescribe most? They are not effective on everyone and, when they are, stopping them always leads to losing whatever gain had been acquired during the treatment. Is that then a rip-off too?

The Notion of Symptomatic Treatment

All the current products to fight androgenetic hair loss are actually all of the same type: they are all symptomatic treatments, which means that what they heal is the manifestation of the problem, and not the problem itself. Aspirin heals the headache, and not what causes it. Does that therefore mean it is a misleading drug?

Providing a definite treatment for androgenetic hair loss would imply acting on the person’s genome, in order to modify its alopecic genes present in the hereditary program since birth. Several research teams are actively working on it, but for now, genic therapy is only at its experimental stage.

Healing the Androgenetic Symptom

Healing the symptom? That first means repairing the damage caused by the androgen on the defective hair follicles. It also implies preparing the future and neutralising the influence those hormones will necessarily have on the regrowths if no treatment is started.

At Centre Clauderer, treatments are directly focused on the hair’s roots. The method consists in cleansing, oxygenating and nourishing them, thus increasing their vital space and making up for their weakness by an intake in nutrients and anti-androgen* vitamins, in a way somehow similar to how we give restorative products to weak children.

Result: increase of the life length of the anagen phase, thickening of the keratin of the current hair, and improvement of the environment in which the new regrowths will develop.   It is a deep action, and in no way a purely cosmetic treatment.

The Androgenetic
Symptom

It is caused by the impact androgens have on the scalp. This impact manifests itself by a series of disorders…

Appearance of toxins that asphyxiate and shrink the roots,

Acceleration of the hair’s life cycle, and decrease of the anagen phase,

Hair thinning
and premature loss

WORTH NOTING: if the impact of the alopecic gene is very strong, the most effective solution can be by association a hormonal treatment (Propecia for men, Androcur for women) with a Clauderer treatment. Their action is complementary. The first one increases the anti-androgen effect, while the second one takes it from there: by rebalancing the vital functions of the affected roots, it transforms the temporary down and sickly regrowths into real, strong and long lasting hair.

No Miracle...

In any event, and whatever the treatments, no quick and final miracle should be expected. The ripoff comes from those who promise a resurrection of the hair in a few weeks. There is no mystery in terms of treatment against androgenetic alopecia, especially if the first symptoms appeared many years before. Time is needed.

During the first weeks, all the work being done is underground, and thus the results are only tangible after several months. Isn’t it normal for there to be some time between the planting of the seed and the harvest?
